TimeO
Anyone have a clue whats TimeO about?
Im wondering if its about two worlds colliding in time, so things from one world is filtering into the other.

Still no memory. Damn. Wish my solo still drank.
Looks like we are going to have to go hunting without him.
Beyond that the russian mission went well. Some crazy veetol driving, but the team held. We swept in, two pickups, one drop and back home.
All the work I aff’ed has went well and is done or ready to go. Two other jobs (for inhouse) needs to be thought through and set up.
Next its out to the swamps, our first basecamp in open ground against targets who we dont see on camera. … ohhh. what about an base in the air…? That would work.
Someone is translating Sunset games maid trpg. The post gives a fair good idea what a game is like. Very mad, very wacky. Maid rpg probally took off after the couple of mangas based on maids and the popularity of maid cafes.
Still its a bit odd. Might still be fun though if the systems good. And the covers always have female main characters. To be honest their is nothing there you cant do with BESM, but its fairly focused on what it does.
Anyone using google reader to make an rpg linkblog? If so let me know so I can bookmark you. I dont use google reader myself but I’m begining to want to just to be able to have a linkblog.
Just read the section on bronze swords.
Well you can read the rest of it, there is some lovely prose there. But its the bit on bronze swords I’m pointing out.

Read this post if you haven’t already.
Some of its pretty familar. I know gms who don’t set games in Ireland, due to not really thinking much of their own home country. Casual dislike for ourselves. Against our own.
Well. It will probally go away with time, but its not been all that long since many went to england and carried back some of that attitude home. English intolerance mixing with a lack of self. In many ways we still dont seem to know who we are.
Rural, townie, gaelgoir, english-speaker, history-blind, history buff, rich and young, poor and old. Sayings and songs, new pop and new books.
A lot has changed in my lifetime, maybe when no one remembers it, our culture will be fixed.
And mothers day, and the match was on.
Busy weekend. Need more sleep.
I like the fact you can buy and sell magic items easily in dnd. I run my world pretty high magic, so it suits very well.
However I also have craftspeople who produce unique brands of quality better than average work. Their work can’t be bought freely, and not everyone you try to sell them too will recognise the high quality work. You have to stumble across them and have the money to pay then. Recently in one isolated city, one player came across a master mitral smith.
I’m not sure if you would want to keep the buy and sell element in a low magic world. You could just make everything very expensive in the places that do trade magic items, but that solution wouldnt suit everyone.
Do know if I mentioned this, but this years free rpg day is on the 23rd June.
I’m thinking of running a day for some players and handing out quickstart rules of some system or a little mini-rpg system.
